"Pain" uses "skin" as its core metaphor, symbolizing how contemporary individuals are bound and shaped under social media filters and societal norms.

Inspired by Kubota Kafu's treatment of "afterimage memory", the work uses layered metal mesh and plaster to symbolize compressed emotions and fractured self-identity. The textural collision of steel wire and plaster, the contrast of warm and cool colors, together compose a visual narrative about discipline, memory, and self-liberation.
